If you use TM1 Architect / Perspectives and need a temporary consolidation which does not exist in dimension structure, you can insert user defined consolidation into existing subset.
Follow steps below to create user defined consolidations.
Open Subset Editor, click on element in the left pane, the subset will be inserted above this element. Click Edit, Insert Subset.
It will open up a new subset editor, click on the elements and click OK.
Type in on the subset name. This subset name will also be the consolidated elements where all the selected elements rolled up to.
Note: You can insert public subsets into private subsets but you cannot insert private subsets into public subsets.
In this example both subsets are public subsets.
